Determining the critical parameters of a design requires skill and experience. During the product development phase, optimization methodologies are often applied to achieve the best performance. Depending on customer needs, we utilize traditional mathematical programming algorithms to improve products for our customers.

When the number of critical parameters of a product is small and/or the product is already in production but needs minor improvement, the available data along with trade studies can often lead to a better performing product without the need to utilize an optimization algorithm. This approach leads to a better performing product at a lower cost when the correct trade study approach is chosen for the product.
