Finite Element Modeling

The finite element method is widely used in today’s technology. Whether the analysis is needed for a space shuttle or a simple fitting, the accuracy of the finite element model is necessary to obtain accurate results. The required level of detail of the finite element model and the type of elements to be used is dependent on the application. SOLIENG engineers are highly experienced with the finite element method and have the tools to import geometry from a variety of industry leading software to build a representative and accurate finite element model that will provide accurate analysis results

Static/ Quasi-Static Analysis

Analysis of many complicated problems can be simplified to static/quasi-static problems with sufficiently accurate representation. We perform static/Quasi-Static analysis for systems and/or subsystem components and calculate the resulting stresses and displacements. We also provide recommendations to improve the performance and increase the capability of your system and/or subsystem components

Dynamic Analysis

Engineers at SOLIENG have excellent knowledge of structural dynamics. We have the capabilities, knowledge and experience to perform modal analysis for systems and subsystem components to identify and characterize the modal behavior. We also analyze systems and subsystem components to Sine vibration, Random vibration, and Vibroacoustic environments to recover the dynamic responses and stresses of the system or subsystem component

Thermal Stress Analysis

Temperature loading is one of the major design drivers in today’s engineering. Components of multiple engineering applications such as motor vehicle engines, high power electrical components of an aircraft or spacecraft, etc., are subject to severe temperatures. We develop the thermal load cases based on the thermal environment of the component and perform the thermal stress analysis and calculate the resulting stresses and displacements. We also provide recommendations to improve the performance and increase the capability of your system and/or subsystem components

Buckling Analysis

Bifurcation in the solution to the equations of static equilibrium causes buckling. Buckling stability is an important problem to solve for most engineering applications. We perform buckling analysis for systems and/or subsystem components
